  • Growing up, I wasn’t like the other kids. I was distant and timid, shy and unconfident. I was picked on, a lot for not having nice clothes, for not having the big nice house, and for not being one of the popular kids. My mom worked all the time. My father was in and out of the picture. My mother did what she could to give us the best life possible, and I saw her struggle constantly to make sure we could live happily. there was many nights I saw my mother go without so that we could have what we needed. And she always preached to us that the only time we should look in our neighbors bowl is to see if they have enough and not more than us. Things that she was able to give at no cost were her love, her time and her patience. She taught me a lot whether she knows it or not. so, I use my past as a teaching tool. for myself and to share with others when they need it.
I model because it is a release for me to feel beautiful. to feel powerful and to feel free. and it opens up doors for me to share my kindness to humans who need it, love to humans who need it, and confidence to humans who need it. I want to be an example for people. An example, that no matter what background you come from, no matter who you thought you were as a younger self. That it is never to late to pursue you, and to pursue your happiness in this life, and to be a good human while doing it.
